Flow3 Laser Eye Surgery Success Story - Helena's Experience

Helena Ingermann (24) works as a nurse and is involved in motocross. She tells us how her lifelong dream was to fall asleep watching TV. Now that she no longer wears glasses after the Flow procedure, that dream has come true.

Life is made up of small details. Helena feels that after being freed from her vision impairment, the details in her life have become sharper and better, affecting her overall wellbeing in a very positive way.

"Now I can work in peace and not worry about my eyes. Before, when I wore lenses, my eyes would become dry and tired by the evening," Helena recalls the time when her eyes still needed contact lenses or glasses for her work at a plastic surgery clinic.

Excellent vision is essential for motocross

Helena is a versatile woman with many interesting hobbies. In addition to working as a nurse, she is also involved in motocross. In this field, excellent vision was something she lacked. Only now, after the laser procedure, can she fully enjoy her hobby.

Helena explains: "In motocross, there is a lot of sand and mud flying around, along with a great deal of dust and mist. None of that is good for the eyes, and it causes irritation when wearing contact lenses. I have often had to stop at the side of the track to adjust my lenses, and sometimes I have even had to abandon a race because of them."

Prescription glasses didn't help her either. "It felt so dangerous!" says Helena with a shudder. "Some people wear glasses under their motorcycle goggles, but I couldn't. I started imagining what would happen if I fell..."

Excellent night vision after laser correction

Now Helena can ride as boldly and as fast as she likes, because her eyes no longer limit her freedom. "I can trust my eyes and my vision," Helena describes her hobby. "That is extremely important in motocross. I have to keep my eyes on the ground and react very quickly."

Her night vision is now excellent as well. By the end of the day, her eyes used to be tired, sore, and watery. Now she has none of those problems! "I am enjoying life to the full!" she exclaims.
