20 Questions with Hensugusta: Flow3 Vision Journey

A few months ago, Henri Karpov—better known as Hensugusta—walked out of KSA Silmakeskus without glasses for the first time in years. His infectious energy and sharp humour have made him one of Estonia's most followed content creators, with tens of thousands of people tuning into his TikTok and YouTube channels daily. What started as a hobby has become a genuinely successful career.
We sat down with Hensugusta and asked him 20 questions. Some about life in general. Some about his experience at KSA Silmakeskus. Here's what he had to say.
1. How would you describe yourself to someone who's never heard of you?
I'm a 26-year-old social media content creator from Tartu who rides the waves of life and has done what many people dream of—turning a passion into a full-time job.
2. Would you have believed as a kid that you'd work full-time as a content creator?
Not a chance. Back then I wasn't watching TikTokers—I was glued to Estonian TV, watching Teletupsud and Vanaks & Kobedaks. I genuinely thought I'd end up working at a brewery like my dad. Maie and Valdur were my influencers.
3. What does a typical day look like for you?
Mostly hanging out with family and friends. I spend time answering emails, brainstorming video ideas, overthinking things, and watching TV series.

4. What do you love most about what you do?
The creative process itself. But more than that—seeing the final result and watching what emotions it sparks in people when I post it.
5. What are the biggest challenges of your work?
Being in the spotlight constantly. Coming up with original ideas. And honestly? The word "influencer." I don't like it, and I definitely don't want to be one.
6. What are your hobbies? How do you relax?
My hobbies are how I relax. Summer at the beach. Autumn in the forest hunting mushrooms. Winter ice fishing. Spring with my hands in the soil, doing garden work.

7. When did you first get glasses? How did that feel?
I was in fourth grade. I also got braces around the same time, so I had a complete "nerd package" going. I only wore the glasses at school at first, and honestly I was a bit embarrassed about them. But when I realized I needed them all the time, it just became tedious.
8. Did you prefer glasses or contact lenses?
That's a funny story. I really wanted to wear contacts, but it turned out my eye shape was too curved, and there were no suitable lenses available for me. So glasses it was—for years.
9. What changed your mind about vision correction?
I'd spent so long thinking glasses were just part of who I was. But I got tired of them. They fogged up, they slipped, they got in the way. I started researching options seriously.
10. Why did you choose KSA Silmakeskus?
I looked at a lot of clinics. KSA stood out because of Dr. Ants Haavel's reputation and the numbers—over 55,000 procedures performed. That's not luck. That's experience. The fact that the entire clinical team chose Flow3 for their own eyes was the real clincher. If the people doing the surgery trust it that much, why wouldn't I?
11. What made you choose Flow3 over other options?
Flow3 is flapless—no cutting, no flap. For someone like me who stays active, that felt significantly safer. The recovery is also about a week, which fit my schedule. And again—the team does it on themselves. That says everything.
12. Were you nervous before the procedure?
Of course. But the clinic was professional and calm, which helped tremendously. Dr. Haavel explained everything clearly. I felt informed rather than scared.
13. What was the actual procedure like?
Quicker than I expected. I was in and out. It wasn't painful—just an odd sensation you know isn't dangerous, so your brain doesn't freak out.
14. How was the recovery?
Smoother than anticipated. A few days of being careful with my eyes—no swimming, no intense sports. But by the end of the first week, things were genuinely back to normal.
15. When did you notice real improvement in your vision?
Almost immediately. Things were sharper within days. By the end of the first week, I couldn't believe how clear everything was.
16. Has ditching glasses changed your content creation?
Absolutely. No more glare in videos. No more fogging issues during outdoor shoots. Ironically, I can now see my audience reactions better—and that matters to me.
17. What's been the biggest difference in your day-to-day life?
Freedom, honestly. No glasses slipping during physical activity. No cleaning lenses. No worrying about breaking them. It's the small things that add up.
18. Would you recommend Flow3 to others?
Without hesitation. If you're on the fence about vision correction, get a consultation. The technology is solid. The team is excellent. And you'll actually enjoy life without glasses or contacts.
19. Any advice for people considering laser eye surgery?
Do your research. Ask questions. Don't choose based on price alone—choose based on experience and trust. Your vision is too important.
20. What's next for you?
Keeping doing what I love. Making content. Spending time outdoors. And now—actually seeing it all clearly without glasses. Life's pretty good right now.
